    Professor (psychology), Author, researcher

Psychology for adults seeking understanding of our contemporary lives, identities, brains, and spirit health.

I completed my Ph.D. with a concentration in Biopsychology at Howard University in Washington DC. Since those days I've taught thousands of students in public and private universities and college about normal brain and behavior matters, and about abnormal brain functioning. My scholarship has focused on research about the lived experiences of Black gender queer and Black same-gender attracted persons. The population has been understudied in cultural neuroscience, psychology, women, gender, and sexuality studies, history, and Africana studies.
